Two recurring systems reward consistent play without requiring additional spending: the GUFA Clash competitions and the Season Pass. Both run on seasonal cycles, both offer GU STARS and rare cards, and both reward managers who engage with them deliberately rather than passively.
GUFA Clash is a global competition organised several times per year. Every manager can join, it runs as a United-style 1on1 competition with group and club rankings running simultaneously.
Upon joining, your club is randomly assigned to one of many groups. Your wins contribute to the group's point total and your individual club ranking.
15 free matches per day within the event count toward ranking. Additional matches cost GU STARS or 1on1 coupons.
Matchmaking pairs you with clubs of similar strength (best 11). If no opponent is found, a bot of similar strength fills the slot.
Minimum squad strength to participate: best 11 must be at least 20.
Registration deadline: 7 days after the event starts. Check in-game notices and Discord.

Play all 15 free matches every day the event runs; consistency matters more than single-day peaks.
Adjust your formation between 1on1 matches based on what the opponent is using. Check their recent match reports before each game.
United rules apply: no energy loss, no card carryover between matches.
A strong individual record (many wins) boosts both tracks simultaneously; it helps your group's points and your club ranking.
The Season Pass runs for each in-game season and rewards you for completing quests across all areas of the game. It is divided into Rounds; unlock a Round by accumulating enough Quest Points, then claim the reward.

Quests span every area of the game. Some quests unlock sequentially — you must complete the first before the next appears. Categories include:
Match performance - win specific competitions, reach certain positions, score goals.
Development - train players, develop youth, improve staff.

Open the Quests tab at the start of every season. Identify the highest-point quests and whether they align with your plans.
If you are close to a Round threshold, check which small quests (training, daily actions) you may have missed; small-point quests accumulate quickly.
If you are engaged and active, the Free Pass rounds unlock naturally. Only buy the Premium Pass if you are consistently completing quests and the premium rewards represent good value for your STARS budget.
Claim rewards as you unlock them; unclaimed rewards expire at season end.
GUFA Clash and the Season Pass reinforce each other naturally:
Clash matches count toward match-based quests (games played, wins achieved).
GUFA Clash rewards (GU STARS) can be used to unlock Season Pass rounds close to Season end
Both systems are most rewarding for managers who log in consistently; daily actions in both accumulate far better returns than irregular heavy sessions.
