### Update \[07.12.2024\]

**Relegation and Promotion Update**

As you may know, in the creation of new seasons so far, the promotion and relegation system would tend to put all active clubs in higher divisions, which in return resulted in an unwanted promotion or stay in the same league layer.

From now on, clubs **will no longer receive automatic promotion** unless they finish in a promotable position. Similarly, **clubs ranked in relegation spots** **will no longer remain** in their current division in favor of populating higher league layers.

**Improved Leagues sorting**

We’ve refined the club sorting process to create more balanced and fair divisions where this makes sense, more specifically in the bottom layers of each country. This change ensures more equitable competition for both new and existing managers.

**SMS payment method info**

Due to low usage, the SMS payment option will be removed from the Stars Shop as of 02.12.2024.

You can still use the other available payment options if you wish to purchase GU STARS.

**New feature: The Season Pass**

The Season Pass runs from the beginning of each new season.

-   There are various quests to pursue and complete throughout the duration of the season.
    
-   With each quest, you will earn points to progress from Round 1 to Round 10.
    
-   At the end of each Season Pass round, you can redeem valuable rewards

**New buildings and features**

goalunited LEGENDS just got upgraded with new buildings and features!

-   Annex buildings: new category of buildings can be constructed in your stadium complex, for more details, [CLICK HERE](https://support.goalunited.org/articles/59).
    
-   Clubs’ Strength values are represented by a special visual indicator: The strength of clubs now has a “stars” indicator next to it, which varies based on the strength level of the club.
    
-   Players’ strength values are represented by a “stars” indicator: Player strength now has a “stars” indicator next to it, varying based on the strength level of the player
    
-   Manager career represented by a star symbol: The manager name contains a “star” indicator which depends on the career level of the manager
    
-   Stats tab in Club contact page: Most valuable Top 5 are shown
    
-   Extra information in Squad overview:
    

1.  Counter for positions, indicating the number of players on each position
    
2.  Counter for personalities, indicating the number of players per each personality
    
3.  Counter for cards played in the squad indicating how many players have an active card played and when the next card can be played
    
4.  Counter showing player status in connection with special buildings (i.e Winter Camp): detail shows where they are sent and when they are returning
    
5.  Counter for Youth players, indicating the number of players who come directly from your own Youth team
