But as you play in a real league system against other real managers, the matches are not instant, but always at set times.
But don't worry, you won't have to wait long. Regular league matches take place every Wednesday and Saturday. If you signed up right between seasons you might not have a match scheduled, but don't worry, there are only a few days between seasons, so the first match should show up in a day or two at the latest.

There is so much to do in goalunited, that it is almost easy to forget, that in the end, it is all about the matches. So you should try your best in every match. Of course, doing your best does not always mean trying to win the match, sometimes it might mean taking it slow in a match against a very strong opponent, to keep your strength for the next match.
It is best to weigh all your options before each match. Take a very close look at the other team, at his players, and at his last matches. Use all the information you can gather to decide on your formation, effort, and tactics. Analysing your opponent can be the deciding factor in your matches and in the end for the championship or the results in the cup.
