# The Coach

The Coach

The Coach leads the tactic training of your team. The more efficient your coach is, the better the training will be.

He also gives a bonus to your team in matches. (Max. bonus per sector is +30%. Max total bonus is 90% with all sector bonuses added together).

  
The bonus is based on the philosophy of the coach. The coach is the only staff member that follows his own philosophy.

There are 6 different philosophies available for a coach:

-   **Very offensive** - gives his full bonus to the three offensive Sectors (up to 30% each).
    
-   **Offensive** \- gives 2/3 of his bonus to the offensive sectors and 1/3 to the midfield sectors.
    
-   **Balanced** \- gives equal bonus for all sectors (up to 10% each).
    
-   **Defensive** \- gives 2/3 of the bonus to the defensive sectors and 1/3 to the midfield sectors.
    
-   **Very defensive** - gives his full bonus on the three defensive sectors.
    
-   **Dynamic** \- is a special philosophy that can be unlocked if you own all [5 Wood Snake Monuments](https://support.goalunited.org/articles/64). This philosophy is a flexible coaching style that adapts based on the opponent's play style (basically, the Dynamic coach is giving a bonus opposite to your opponents: i.e. your opponent's is offensive, then your dynamic coach will give a bonus for defensive sectors; if both are dynamic, then the bonus given by both will be balanced)
    
-   **Rebellious** \- Unlock this philosophy by owning all 5 [Fire Horse Monuments](https://support.goalunited.org/articles/64). The Rebellious coach empowers your team with stronger all-around sector bonuses. Occasionally, the coach may personally intervene during the match, delivering an additional tactical surge.  
    
-   **Provocative**: Unlock this philosophy by owning all 5 OxyCore Domes. The Provocative coach disrupts the opposing coach’s influence, while making the effect of your own coach more unpredictable, but the same mind games can also sometimes bite back his own impact.

> Each provocative coach starts with balanced factors
> Impact on opponent coach efficiency for all matches
> Exact impact depends on opponent coach skill set and their own philosophy
> Your own coach can get a boost (70% chance), malus (20% chance) or will stay unaffected (10% chance) (balanced) during a match
>
> During a match, there will be sentences in the live ticker presenting the bonus or malus when your own coach gets it. When there isn't any effect, the live ticker will not show anything about the unaffected state.

> **Info:** The philosophy of your coach can be changed if you use the Plus Coach coupon. (Heads up! Dynamic philosophy can be selected only if you own the 5 Wood Snake Monuments)

> Each Wood Snake building unlocks your coach's Qualification skill limit by +1. (max. is 105 if you have all 5 Wood Snake Monuments)

> If the Dynamic philosophy is unlocked, Coach applicants can have a Dynamic philosophy

> If you unlock the Dynamic philosophy, you can change the philosophy of your coach by clicking the "Rocket symbol" (available only one time)
