The Morale
Morale is a dynamic individual player value that can increase or decrease depending on your club’s performance and the time played by your players in official matches.
The morale level affects the effectiveness of players' skills in matches and, therefore, their potential performance.
The current maximum value of the player’s morale is 100.
A new column graphically displays the morale level in the squad overview. To check the current value of each player's morale, simply hover over the Morale icon next to your player.

What’s influencing your players’ morale
There are several factors that impact the morale value of your players in official matches (League, IM, Cup).
Playing time
When a player is used in official matches his morale increases based on how much he plays in the match.
Playtime up to 45 minutes -> The morale increases by a random value between 0.05 to 0.35 points
Playtime more than 45 minutes -> The morale increases by a random value between 0.40 to 0.75 points
Important!
For matches that are decided in extra time (ET) or at Penalty Shootout (PSO), no extra morale is earned.
Absence in matches
If the player is not in the line-up for more than 3 official matches in series, their morale value will start going down as follows:
- Match 4 to 10: their morale will decrease by a value between 1 to 5 points per match
- Match 11 to 15: their morale will decrease by a value between 5 to 10 points per match
- Match 15+: their morale will decrease by 15 points
Club’s performance
Depending on the official match a player is part of, he will get the following:
League matches
- Win: +1.2 points per player for players in the line-up (players on the bench may gain or lose small morale value)
- Draw: random value between 0 and +0.5 per player (line-up and bench)
- Loss: -1.45 per player for players in the line-up and -1 for players on the bench
Cup matches
- Win: +1.3 points per player for players in the line-up (players on the bench may gain or lose small morale value)
- Loss: -1.55 per player for players in the line-up and -1 for players on the bench
International Masters matches
- Win: +1.4 points per player for players in the line-up (players on the bench may gain or lose small morale value)
- Draw: random value between 0 and +0.7 per player (line-up and bench)
- Loss: -1.65 per player for players in the line-up and -1 for players on the bench
Win/Loss series
Win Series
After the club achieves 2 wins in series in any type of official matches, each player will receive a +0.10 increase on top of the Win increase, starting with the 3rd win in series.
For example, if a club wins the 3rd official match in a row, let’s say a League match, the players in the line-up will get +1.2 for the win plus extra 0.10 for the Win Streak.
The Streak bonus stops when the Wins streak is interrupted by a draw or loss, or when a maximum of 0.5 points bonus is reached.
Loss series
After the club achieved 2 losses in a row in any type of official matches, each player in the line-up will receive -0.10 on top of the Loss decrease, starting with the 3rd loss in a row.
For example, if a club loses the 3rd official match in a row, let’s say a League match, the players in the line-up will get -1.45 for the loss plus extra -0.10 for the Loss Streak.
The Streak decrease stops when the Loss streak is interrupted by a draw or win, or when a maximum of -0.5 points is reached.
Injuries
Depending on the duration of the injury, the player morale will be impacted as follows:
- -1 to -10 morale points for an injury of 1-10 days
- -11 to - 15 morale points if the injury duration is 11 - 15+ days)
Careful!
Bruised players are also counted as Injured players.
The Morale value will decrease instantly once the injury happens, by a value that depends on the injury duration.
For example, 9 days duration, 9 points Morale value decrease; 17 days injury duration, 15 points Morale value decrease.
Using Vitamin, Rehab, Instant heal doesn't recover the morale value lost after the injury.
Red/Yellow cards
In matches, a yellow/ red card given to a player will affect their morale value:
- -10 Morale points for a direct red
- -5 Morale points for a second yellow in the same match
